- Lori has a BA in Print Journalism from Southern University and A&M College.
- Lori has earned a Juris Doctorate Degree from Southern University Law Centre, Baton Rouge.
- She spent four years working for the Florida Department of Children and Families as a Supervising Attorney.
- Lori worked as an adjunct professor at Brown Mackie College.
- Since joining the DWD family, Lori has worked as lead counsel or sole counsel for clients in at least 125 non-jury trials in divorce.
Lori’s Background.
As mentioned above, Lori has a strong academic background, having studied extensively under some of the most prestigious tutors in the US. When earning her Bachelor of Arts at the Southern University and A & M College, she made the dean’s list, before going on to graduate cum laude (with distinction) when completing her Juris Doctor’s degree at Southern University. Her academic success inspired her to reach great heights in her career moving forward, which is perhaps why she has worked so extensively in the legal field since graduating in 1992.
Lori’s background, in particular her work for the Florida Department of Children and Families, made her the perfect fit for the Divorce With Dignity family, as we pride ourselves on our human-first approach to divorce, custody arrangements and more. This means that, much like Lori, we work towards helping our clients achieve optimal outcomes in all legal procedures, with minimal stress and upset.
As a result, we were thrilled to welcome her onboard in 2010!
Lori continued to work in Florida until November 2019 when she made the move to California and since then has worked with a lot of Californian clients.
