Empowered Divorce Solutions—for Families Who Choose Peace Over Court.

Divorce Doesn’t Have to Be a Battle

If you’re facing divorce, you’re likely overwhelmed—by the decisions, the paperwork, and the emotional toll. You might be asking: How do I protect my kids? Can we do this without court? Is there a way to make clear decisions without destroying what’s left?

There is.

At Divorce With Dignity – South Metro Colorado, I help couples like you resolve divorce peacefully and practically—through structured mediation and guided paperwork support that keeps you out of court and in control. Whether you’re working toward full agreement or just need help navigating the legal process, I provide calm, confidential, and judgment-free support.

Families in Douglas and El Paso counties trust me to help them divorce with clarity, avoid unnecessary legal battles, and preserve what matters most: their relationships, their children’s well-being, and their financial future.

Why Choose Divorce With Dignity – South Metro Colorado

Couples choose my practice because they want to:

  • Avoid court and costly litigation
  • Stay in control of their divorce process
  • Minimize stress for their children
  • Preserve long-term co-parenting and extended family relationships
  • Complete paperwork and legal steps with confidence and accuracy

I work with professionals, business owners, and families from all walks of life—but I have a special understanding of those in high-demand, high-travel careers, like aviation, consulting, and government service. If you’re trying to manage family transitions alongside a demanding career, I can help you create a clear path forward.

A Better Divorce Is Possible

Litigation can drag families through months of tension, legal expenses, and emotional trauma. But it’s not the only option.

In most cases, a non-adversarial, structured process—led by a trained mediator and supported with accurate paperwork—can help you resolve your divorce efficiently and respectfully. My role is to guide you through every step, from the first decision to the final filing.

You’ll never be rushed. Never judged. And never forced into something you don’t agree with.

The Process: Simple. Private. Empowering.

Getting started is easier than you think—and every step is designed to give you clarity, peace of mind, and control over your divorce.

1) Schedule Your Free Consultation

We’ll begin with a 20–30 minute phone or Zoom call to discuss your situation and goals. I’ll explain your options, answer your questions, and help you decide whether mediation, divorce paperwork support, or a combination of both is the right fit.

2) Choose the Right Path for You

Some couples are ready to work together in mediation. Others just need help navigating Colorado’s divorce forms and filing requirements. You’ll receive a clear, customized roadmap based on your timeline, comfort level, and budget.

3) Meet Privately & Work Together

All sessions are confidential, structured, and designed to reduce conflict. We’ll move step-by-step through parenting plans, asset division, financial decisions, and final paperwork—always with compassion, clarity, and fairness.

4) Access Trusted Resources When Needed

If additional professionals are needed—such as a legal reviewer, financial advisor, or therapist—I can connect you with vetted, local, and affordable resources. You stay in charge. I simply help you find the right tools at the right time.

5) File and Finalize with Confidence

I’ll walk you through Colorado’s filing process and ensure your paperwork is accurate, complete, and ready for court approval—without surprises or stress. Most clients never step foot in a courtroom.

Meet Cory

Hi, I’m Cory Flohr—and this isn’t just a job for me. It’s a mission grounded in both professional experience and personal understanding.

Before becoming a divorce mediator, I worked in high-pressure, high-responsibility environments—from the halls of Congress to the cockpit of commercial aircraft. I’ve advised on political strategy, navigated public service, and flown passengers across the country. These roles taught me how to remain calm under pressure, manage complexity, and prioritize what matters most.

But none of those roles compares to being a father. I’ve been through divorce. I’ve had to co-parent. I know the strain it can put on your peace, your finances, and your children—and I also know that it is absolutely possible to do it well. My approach is rooted in structure, empathy, and clarity, because I believe that when people are supported, they can make wise, lasting decisions—even in the most emotional times.

Today, I help couples navigate their divorce with the same steadiness and respect I needed during my own. I’ve built this practice to serve people who want clarity, not chaos. Peace, not power struggles. And a future they can feel proud of.

📍 Serving South Metro Colorado

MORE ABOUT CORY:

I bring a calm, structured presence to what can often feel like a chaotic and emotional time. My background spans public service, aviation, and strategic consulting—roles that demanded composure, precision, and responsibility under pressure.

But perhaps the most important thing I bring to this work is personal insight. I’ve experienced the challenges of divorce and co-parenting firsthand, while raising two young children.
