Did you ever get the feeling that something was meant to be? That’s how I feel about my affiliation with Divorce with Dignity (DWD) Network. I have a strong legal background for one, but even more importantly, I have a passion for the work done by DWD and its affiliates.
You see, in 2010, my husband of 20 years chose to leave the marriage. Like so many couples starting the process of divorcing, we assumed we each needed a divorce lawyer—we had no idea that there were any alternatives.
One year and $35,000 later, we were finally divorced. The irony is that we were largely amicable throughout the process, even resolving some of the issues ourselves; our attorneys fought with each other more than we did!
And now I realize that it didn’t have to be that way. With the help of a DWD affiliate we could have managed the process of our divorce, remained in control, experienced less pain and anxiety, and certainly have spent far less money.
I look forward to applying my education, training, and life experiences to you and your individual circumstances. I see my mission as being to promote amicable divorces (but not to promote divorce itself) and save my clients time, money, and frustration during this very difficult time.
You deserve a divorce that is fair, easy, and affordable. Believe it or not, you can embark on the next chapter of your life with your dignity intact!
