My passion for the law began at the early age 5. I would daydream of objecting in court and filling out endless pages of legal documents. Today, I have over 10 years of legal experience.
I began my journey at Saint Mary’s College of California (SMC) in the Legal Studies department. There, I began to lay the foundation of my legal know knowledge. I graduated from SMC in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Law Studies. Simultaneously, I received my paralegal certification through the ABA approved program at SMC. During my time at SMC, I worked as a personal injury, family law and estate planning legal assistant in a local law firm. It was here where I began to relate the theory of law with the practical side of it.
After SMC, I continued my legal education to San Francisco Law School (SFLS). SFLS fortified my foundation for the law, both theoretically and practically. In law school I worked as a corporate paralegal and legal clerk. Here I learned how to assist attorneys with all aspects of real estate and corporate litigation. I was responsible for drafting pleadings, discovery, motions and electronically filing documents with various counties.
Today, I have aspirations of taking and passing the California Bar and continuing my journey as an attorney.
