Diana Fortin

  • Over 20 years experience as a paralegal for major corporations
  • Specializing in management of procedural matters, legal analysis, research contracts, litigation and corporations

She has a Bachelor of Science Degree and Paralegal Certification where she attended the University of Los Angeles and University of West Los Angeles. She has a Certificate of Tribute from The Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law from the Board of Directors and Staff members for her volunteer work in providing assistance to low-income persons in Los Angeles County in family law matters. She has served as a member of the Board of Advisors for the University of West Los Angeles and was on the Board when National University, the second largest, private, nonprofit university in California applied for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and American Bar Association (ABA) approval which were granted in 2008. The approval placed National University in a select group of Southern California universities offering an ABA-approved Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from an institution accredited by WASC.

She provides a variety of services, including but not limited to, divorce planning and facilitation and assistance with legal documents so that you can achieve an amicable divorce that is affordable to both parties. We do not encourage divorce and try to assist you through the process. We have several contacts with quality professionals and can provide referrals to family law attorneys, mediators and therapists.

She is licensed and bonded as a Legal Document Assistant (LDA-422, Los Angeles County, Expiration 9/2/2011) and is a member of the California Association of Legal Document Assistants (CALDA).

She loves reading, kayaking and traveling and most of all she loves her family. We want to try to help you through these hard times so that you can remain friends and someday look back and say, “that is the wonderful person I once married”. Life changes, people change and life goes on and you move forward to happier times and a new chapter and new love for yourself and others.
